Tucked away in the heart of Pontefract, our Grade II listed restaurant, featuring Victorian brick and sandstone from the castle ruins, is the perfect "hidden gem" for your next special occasion.

CATERING OPTIONS

  • Traditional Afternoon Tea (Up to 20 guests)
  • Our signature afternoon tea with sandwiches, scones, and treats served on classic stands. To ensure a spacious and comfortable dining experience, this option is limited to 20 guests.
  • Plated Seasonal Main Course (Up to 25 guests)
  • A choice of dishes from our main menu.


WHAT'S INCLUDED

  • Exclusive Hire: 3 hours of private use of our intimate upstairs restaurant.
  • Chosen Catering Option: Afternoon tea or main meal
  • The Cake Service: A dedicated display area for your cake and our complimentary cutting & plating service.


OPTIONAL EXTRA

  • Welcome Toast/Drinks Package: Mix & match 200ml bottled Prosecco (£7 each) or 330ml bottled Beer (£4 each) to serve as guests arrive or order additional drinks to serve with their meal.


TERMS OF USE

  • Availability: Monday - Saturday from 2:30pm | Sunday from 12:00pm.
  • Duration: Standard hire is 3 hours.
  • Decorations: We love to see the space transformed! We kindly ask that you be respectful of our historic stonework. For weddings and christenings where guests arrive simultaneously, we are happy to assist with set-up (decorations to be provided by the host).
  • Live Music: Permitted by prior arrangement. Please note this may reduce our maximum guest capacity.
  • Licensing:  Our venue is licensed until 11:00pm.

If you have your own venue, we can offer an outside catering service

Sometimes your special occassions are bigger than what our restaurant can comfortably accommodate, so we are able to offer outside catering to your chosen venue.
